E Ink has released new color e-paper

At the Wacom Connected Event in Japan, E INK unveiled a new type of color e-paper that is based on a TFT screen. This technology will display thousands of different color combinations and will undergo mass production in Q2 2020, and new products will be ready by Q3 2020.

We finally have real color e-paper that will be used on digital note taking devices. Good e-Reader was told a number of companies already placed orders.
